Chairman – Major General S Dutta VSM

General Dutta is a qualified engineer and a successful corporate leader. His distinguished service in the army included special assignments with the US and Soviet armies. He has since been at the forefront of management development in industry, and was a member of the Council for All India Management Association. He was a director of IPCL, India’s largest petrochemical company, and then a senior vice president of Reliance Industries Limited. Presently he is a senior vice president of Reliance ADAG, responsible for all construction activities. General Dutta is a passionate yachtsman, and was responsible for introducing many classes of sailing dinghy to India. He is a Council Member of the Yachting Association of India.

Managing Director - Gautama Dutta

Gautama is former Olympic yachtsman and he commissioned and ran India’s Olympic Sailing Centre at Bombay.  As well as being a round-the-world yachtsman, he holds the high altitude sailing record for his exploits on Lake Deotal at 5480 m.Gautama is also managing director of Marine Solutions, one of India’s leading yachting companies which, amongst other things, holds the dealerships for Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Jeanneau sail boats, Sea Ray and Mercury OBMs.

Technical Director– Simon J Arrol  CEng FICE

The first 15 years of Simon’s career were spent in the dredging & harbour-works industry, including time with the world’s largest dredging company, Royal Bos Kalis Westminster Dredging NV, in Europe and West Africa.  This was followed by 15 years as Managing Director of Camper & Nicholsons Marinas Ltd (established in 1782), where he was responsible for a portfolio of 6 UK marinas and marina consultancy and management assignments in over 20 countries on 4 continents. He latterly spent 2 years as Director of Operations at Island Global Yachting Dubai LLC.
